Women's cross country heads to Missouri Gans Creek Classic

15 of the top 35 teams in the country will be in the race.
The Weber State women's cross country team will travel to Columbia, Missouri to compete in the seventh Missouri Gans Creek Classic Friday September 26.Â
The Wildcats will compete in the 6k Women's Gold Championship race scheduled to begin at 8:00 am (MDT). The Wildcats will race against eight ranked opponents in the same race. The meet also includes 15 of the top 35 teams in the country.Â
New WSU women's cross country head coach Lindsey Anderson, a Wildcat Hall of Famer, was previously the head cross country coach at Missouri.Â
The Wildcats are coming off a 4th place finish at the Beehive Invitational.
Following the trip to Missouri, the Wildcats will travel to the Idaho State Invitational in Pocatello, Idaho, on October 3.Â
