The Weber State women's track and field team hosted its only indoor home meet of the season Friday and Saturday.Â

Hagelin's time broke the mile record that was set in 1997 by BYU's Melissa Teemant. Hannah Bailey and Audrey Camp Cazier rounded out the podium for the mile run with times of 5:04.12 and 5:04.42 respectively.Â
Alyssa Hansen also found 2nd place in the weight throw at 58'-8.0.Â
"We've got some areas to continue working on, but we're looking forward to what the next few meets bring," head coach Lindsey Anderson said.
The Wildcats will look forward to the Snake River Invitational in Pocatello, Idaho January 15-16.
