Wildcats fall in Logan

Logan, UT — The Weber State Wildcats women's tennis team fell on the road 4-1 against the Utah State Aggies.
In doubles, the Wildcats fell on all three courts, giving Utah State the doubles point heading into singles play. Paulina Aleksandrowicz and Nataly Valdivia Rojas pushed their opponent to the brink on Court #3 before falling 7-5.
In singles, Aleksandrowicz picked up the first singles win of her collegiate career in the #4 position. She defeated her opponent in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (7-2). Aleks Bozinovska and Naomi Johnson both went unfinished in their matches at #5 and #6, respectively.
The 'Cats will be back on the court February 20th when they take on BYU in Provo, Utah. The Cougars are 7-1 this season and have won their last 5 matches. The match will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Provo.
