Ogden, UT — The Weber State Wildcats women's tennis team fell to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 5-2 at the Ogden Athletic Club on Sunday.
In doubles, the Wildcats were swept in all three matches, falling 6-0 at #1 and 6-2 at #2 and #3.
In singles, Nataly Valdivia Rojas got the Wildcats on the board, winning by retirement on Court #5 6-3, 0-0. Naomi Johnson closed out the match on a high note for the Wildcats, taking her match in a 3rd set tiebreaker, 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 10-3.
The 'Cats will head for California and take on Fresno Pacific University on Thursday, March 5th. Fresno Pacific comes into the match with a 3-1 mark on the season. The match will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Haak Tennis Complex in Fresno, California.
