Wildcat volleyball earns another AVCA Team Academic Award

Weber State was honored with a team academic award for the ninth straight season.

For the ninth straight year, the Weber State volleyball team has been honored for academic success by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The AVCA Team Academic Award honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.

During the 2025 fall semester, the Wildcats maintained a team GPA of 3.63.

Last season, head coach Jeremiah Larsen and the Wildcats posted 18 wins. Larsen returns for his 12th season with the 'Cats this season.

Weber State begins the 2026 season on August 15 with an exhibition game at Utah. The 'Cats host 16 home games this season, including a home tournament, games against Utah State and BYU, and nine Big Sky Conference home games.

Among the players returning is senior Rose Moore, who earned first-team All-Big Sky honors last season.
