Wildcats Look to Continue Winning Momentum Against Long Beach State

Weber State travels to California riding a two game winning streak
OGDEN, Utah – Weber State soccer looks to continue its winning momentum Saturday as the Wildcats travel to Long Beach State.
The Wildcats enter Saturday's matchup riding a two-game winning streak after earning victories over Wyoming and Oregon State.
Weber State opened its winning streak with a 2-1 comeback victory at Wyoming, overcoming an early deficit with goals from Oakley Anderson and Nellie Brooks. The Wildcats then returned home Sunday and earned another 2-1 victory over Oregon State behind goals from Simone Packer and Amanda Caswell.
The Wildcats have also been creating plenty of opportunities on the attack. Weber State recorded 20 shots, including 11 on goal, against Oregon State, while holding the Beavers to just six shots and three on frame.
Packer leads the Wildcats with five shots on goal through the first four matches, while Anderson has also provided an offensive spark early in the season. Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Butorac has recorded 14 saves through Weber State's first four matches.
