Wildcats Close Non-Conference Play Against Colorado State

Weber State hosts the Rams Friday night in its final nonconference match of the season
OGDEN, Utah — Weber State soccer closes out its non-conference schedule Friday night as the Wildcats host Colorado State at 7 p.m. at Wildcat Soccer Field.
The Wildcats enter Friday's matchup looking to bounce back after a 3-0 loss at Utah Valley last Saturday. Weber State recorded eight shots in the match, including five on goal, with Lauren Butorac making four saves in goal.
Lily Blum and Simone Packer each recorded two shots against the Wolverines, while Oakley Anderson, Nellie Brooks and Mina Nydegger each put a shot on frame. The Wildcats will look to build on those opportunities as they close out the non-conference portion of their schedule.
Colorado State enters Friday's match with a 1-6-2 record. The Rams are coming off a 1-1 draw against Colorado College and will look to close their non-conference schedule as well.
Friday's match marks Weber State's final non-conference contest before the Wildcats turn their attention to Big Sky Conference play. Weber State will look to finish the non-conference schedule on a strong note and carry that momentum into the conference portion of the season.
