Wildcats Open Big Sky Play Thursday at Idaho

Weber State begins conference play on the road Thursday night against the Vandals in Moscow
OGDEN, Utah — After wrapping up non-conference play with a 3-1 win over Colorado State, Weber State women's soccer turns its attention to Big Sky Conference play.
The Wildcats enter conference play with a 4-5-1 record after earning their fourth win of the season against the Rams on Sept. 25. Weber State scored three goals in the second half, including goals from Cadence Packer and Lily Blum, to close out the non-conference portion of its schedule on a high note.
The win also gave the Wildcats momentum heading into the conference season, with Weber State looking to carry the intensity it showed against Colorado State into its first Big Sky matchup.
Idaho enters Thursday's match with a 6-2-2 record. The Vandals closed their non-conference schedule with a 1-1 draw against Gonzaga on Sept. 25 after Gonzaga took an early lead before Idaho answered. Idaho has recorded six wins and two ties through its first 10 matches this season.
Thursday marks the first of two consecutive road matches to open conference play for the Wildcats. Weber State will travel to Eastern Washington Sunday for a 2 p.m. matchup before returning home to host Utah Tech and Southern Utah the following week.
The Wildcats and Vandals will meet Thursday at 8 p.m. MT at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow. The match will be streamed on ESPN+ with live stats available on Weberstatesports.com.
