• Sat out the entire season as a redshirt.

As a Junior in 2010
• Started and played in 17 of the Wildcats' 19 matches.
• Played forward for the first half of the season, but switched to central defense during the second half, until suffering a hamstring injury at Eastern Washington that caused her to miss two matches.
• Finished with three goals, second most on the team, despite recording just eight total shots (four on goal).
• Also tallied two assists, third on the team.
• Had eight total points, second most on the team.

As a Sophomore in 2009
• Played in, and started, all 18 matches for the Wildcats.
• Was the team's second-leading scorer with eight points on three goals and two assists.
• Her eight points set a career-high, while she matched her three-goal total from her freshman year. Her pair of assists were the first two of her career.
• Scored goals against Arkansas State (Sep. 11), Texas Tech (Sep. 20) and Montana (Oct. 11).
• Her first career assist came on a Roxy Tebbs goal that was the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over 21st-ranked Utah on Sep. 2.
• Also posted an assist on Jessie Baddley's game-winner in a 2-0 victory over Arkansas State on Sep. 11.
• Recorded 21 shots, which tied for third on the team.
• Put 12 of her 21 shots on-goal, producing a .571 SOG percentage.

As a Freshman in 2008
• Ari played in all 21 matches for the Wildcats and started 11 times.
• Tied for third on the team in scoring with six points on three goals.
• Recorded tallys against Boise State (Aug. 31), Cal State Bakersfield (Sep. 21) and Oregon State (Sep. 26).
• Her goal against Oregon State came in the 97th minute and was the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over the Beavers in Corvallis, Ore.
• Was second on the team in shot attempts with 37.
• Put 20 of her 31 shots on-goal for a SOG percentage of .541, which ranked third on the team.

During her Prep career
• Ari is a 2008 graduate of Bountiful High School in Bountiful, Utah.
• Played her club soccer with Utah Rush.
• Earned four letters in soccer (2004-2007) and two in basketball (2004 and 2006) for the Braves.
• Earned the Salt Lake Tribune 4A Most Valuable Player award after leading Bountiful to the 2006 State Championship.
• Helped the Braves to second place in the state tournament in 2005.
• Has been a member of the Utah State ODP team.
• In addition to her MVP award, she was named All-County and All-State in both 2006 and 2007.
• Was a four-year starter at Bountiful.
• Is the younger sister of former WSU soccer standout and All-Big Sky performer Ashley Wood.

Personal
• Was married to former Weber State football player Akamu Aki during the spring of 2012.
• Ari is the daughter of Von and Michelle Wood.
• Is the fourth of eight children.
• Has four sisters, Bethany, Ashley, Leah and Brooklyn. Also has three brothers, Jace, 
McKay and Jaxon.
• Her older sister, Ashley, was a standout defender and All-Big Sky performer for the Wildcat soccer team from 2002-2005.
