- Sat out the 2011-12 season as a redshirt.
During her Prep Career:
- Graduate of Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, California.
- Lettered in varsity softball from 2007-2009.
- Was the team captain of her high school's varsity softball team.
- Was the varsity softball team MVP as a junior and a senior.
- From 2008-2011 she led her high school team in home runs.

- Daughter of Patrick and Diana Kawasaki-Yee.
