OUTLOOK: Kelly is a skilled offensive player who will be one of the first players off the bench for the Wildcats at the forward line... Could also contend for starting nods as the year progresses... Has recorded career totals of seven points on two goals and three assists.
As a Freshman in 2006: Kelly made an impact with offense off the bench for WSU in 2006 with seven points on two goals and three assists... Played in 17 games, starting once... Her first career points came on a goal in the Wildcats’ 4-2 win over Wisconsin-Green Bay on Sep. 3... Also scored a goal as the ?Cats lost to Texas-El Paso in their home season opener on Sep. 23... Recorded assists against Iowa State (4-1 win), Western Illinois (4-0 win) and Northern Colorado (2-1 win)... Tied for fifth on the team in scoring and third on the team in assists... Her three assists ranks in a tie for fourth place on the WSU all-time freshman season list, while her seven points ties for 10th... Her tally against UTEP was the 900th point scored in the history of the Weber State program.
During her Prep career: Kelly is a 2006 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas... Was a four-year letterwinner for the Gaels, a two-time All-Sunset district player and an All-State selection... Was named the 2005-06 Gatorade High School Player of the Year for Nevada... She was named Team Captain and was twice elected the Best Offensive Player while at Bishop Gorman... Helped lead her Tabagators ?88 club team to a State Cup championship.
