Shaila joins Weber State after a two-year career at Walla Walla Community College in Walla Walla, Wash.
As a sophomore/freshman (at Walla Walla CC)
• Two-time letter winner
• Second team All-NWACC and a member of the NWACC All-Tournament Team as a freshman.
• First team All-NWACC, NFCA All-American, Diamond Catcher of the Year, and a member of the All-Academic team as a sophomore.
Prep/Club career
• Graduated from Yamhill-Carlton High School in Yamhill, OR.
• Four-time letterwinner in softall, two-time academic letterwinner and also lettered a season in cross country and basketball.
• As a senior, played in OSAA 4-A Senior All-Star Game.
• Four-time All-League, three-time 4-A First Team All-State award winner.
Personal
• Parents are Roger and Carla Rivers.
• The second of four children. Siblings are: Kylee (23), Devon (15) and Brakken (8).
• Plans to major in Communications with emphasis on Public Relations/Advertising.
