As a Junior in 2007-08: Fired a course-record 62 at Valley View Golf Course in Layton, Utah during qualifying play for the team's opening tournament of the year. The ten-under-par total came on 10 birdies and eight pars... Tied for 19th in the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational to open the season with a two-over-par total of 218... Helped lead the Wildcats to fifth place in the Purple and Red Invitational and to the inaugural America Sky Conference golf championship title with a one-under-par 143 at Valley View GC, finishing third overall in the ASC and tied for 15th in the P&R... Tied for 72nd with a 230 at the Wolf Pack Invitational... Shot 250 at the Bill Cullum Invitational to finish 86th... Finished 105th at the Turtle Bay Invitational with a 10-over-par 226.

As a Sophomore in 2006-07: Rand played in only three tournaments in his first year back with the Wildcats following a two-year church mission... Posted a 78.11 scoring average... His best finish of the year came in the Purple and Red Invitational as he shot a 10-over-par 226 to tie for 56th... His best round of the season came in the opening round of the Purple and Red with an even-par 72.
