During her Prep Career: Morgan lettered in softball three times while at Sentinel High School and helped her team to a Montana state runner-up finish in 2007... Was named All-State, Academic All-State and the team Most Valuable Player in 2008. Batted .533 with four home runs her final season. She played her club softball with Missoula Montana Lady Osprey, which she helped to the 2008 State ASA championship.
