Sky Indoor Championships in the 5,000 meters...Finished 11th in the
event at the meet in Pocatello, Idaho, posting a time of
19:12.90...Posted a seasonal best time of 18:53.48 in the 5,000 meters
at the Mountain State Games, also in Pocatello...Had a seasonal best
time of 5:29.52 in the mile run at the Snake River Open in January.
2007: Cross Country ? Katie competed in all six meets for the Wildcats during the season...Started the season by finishing 27th overall at the Utah State Open, her best finish of the season...Also took 51st overall at the Montana State Invitational in Bozeman, Montana...Finished 43rd overall at the Big Sky Championships in Missoula, Montana with a time of 19:50.4 on the 5K course...Also finished 98th at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in Ogden.
2006: Cross Country - Competed in four of WSU's seven meets during the season...Started the season taking tenth overall at the first meet of the year, the Utah State Invitational...Came 22nd overall at the Montana State Invitational in Bozeman...Also competed at the prestigious Notre Dame Invitational where she finished 131st overall...Competed at the Big Sky Championships in Sacramento, California where she came in 27th overall with a time of 18:50, as Weber State won the conference title.
High School: Graduated from Fremont High School...Earned High School letters in track, cross country, and soccer...Earned All-State honors in cross country in her junior and senior seasons.
