Sarah was a nine-time Big Sky champion during her career at Weber State from 2009-12. She won the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meter title three times each at the Big Sky outdoor championships and won the 5,000 meters twice and the 3,000 meters once at the indoor championships. She also currently holds six places in WSU career top 10 list and earned Big Sky All-Conference honors 15 times in track and field and cross country. 

She also excelled in the classroom where she had a 4.00 G.P.A. in Nursing. She was awarded the prestigious NCAA Elite 89 award at the 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships. She was also a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, the only athlete in WSU history to earn Academic All-America honors three times. She was also twice named as the Weber State Female Athlete of the Year.

2011 CROSS COUNTRY:  ... Helped the Wildcats capture the 2011 Big Sky Conference women's cross country championship with a 5th place finish (17:56.92), earning All-Big Sky Conference honors. ... Had a 22nd place (21:46.7) finish at the 2011 NCAA Mountain Region Meet, helping the 'Cats earn an At-Large berth to the 2011 NCAA Division One national championship meet. ... Was 135th at the NCAA meet (21:17.0). ... Named to the 2011 Big Sky Conference women's cross country all-Academic team with a perfect 4.00 gpa.

2010 CROSS COUNTRY:  ... Was named the "Big Sky Conference Runner of the Week" on three different occasions.  ... Finished 2nd at the USU Invitational (16:54.1), 3rd at the MSU Invitational (17:00.00).  ...  In the prestigious Notre Dame Invitational, featuring many of the Nation's top teams, she placed 17th in a field of 194 runners in 17:00.00.  ... She was poised and ready to tackle the Big Sky Conference and NCAA Mountain Region meets, but suffered a foot injury in late October and was not able to run in either event.

2011 INDOOR:  ...  Red-shirted the 2011 season

2011 OUTDOOR:  ...For the second straight year, she won the 10,000 Meters (34;37.53) and 5,000 Meters (16:43.95) at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor championship, scoring 20 of WSU's 66 team points.  ... Ran a career best of 33;59.82 in the 10,000 meters on April 14. ... Placed 24th (34;45.08) in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA West preliminary round.

2009 CROSS COUNTRY:  ... Was the only freshman to place in the top 10 at the 2009 Big Sky Conference Women's Cross Country Championship, finishing 4th in a time of 19:36.75, earning First Team All-Big Sky Conference honors and was WSU's top individual in the meet.   ... Was WSU's top runner at the 2009 NCAA Mountain Region meet as well with a time of 21:39.90. ... She placed 25th in the meet.

2010 INDOOR:  ...  Was impressive in her first Big Sky Conference Indoor Championship with a 2nd place finish in the 5,000 meters and a 3rd place finish in the 3,000 meters. ... Her 5,000 meter time of 17:11.84 is the 6th best time in WSU women's indoor history and her 3,000 meter time of 10:00.54 is the 8th best in indoor school history. ... She earned All-Conference honors in both races.  ...  Named to the 2010 Big Sky Conference Indoor Track All-Academic Team with a perfect 4.00 in Applied Mathematics.
2010 OUTDOOR: ...  Was named the 2010 FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE of the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, held at Weber State. Led the Wildcats in scoring with 20 points.  ... She won both the 10,000 and 5,000 Meter races. Her time of 35.57.85 in the 10,000 Meters set a new WSU stadium record. She won the 5,000 in a time of 17:32.95.  ...  Ran a season best of 16:42.18 in the 5,000 Meters on March 26 at the Stanford Invitational. That is the 5th best time in WSU school history. ... On April 16 at the MT SAC RELAYS, she qualified for the 2010 NCAA First Round meet in the 10,000 Meters in a career best time of 34.37.33.  ...  On April 24th at the Wildcat Three-Way Meet in Ogden, she dropped to the 1,500 Meter race and ran a personal best of 4:38.89, which is 4:33.22 when adjusted for altitude.  ...  Ran 35.03.58 at the NCAA First Round in Austin, Texas, finishing 16th which was four behind the 12th place qualifying time.  ...  Named to the 2010 Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track All-Academic Team with a perfect 4.00 gpa in Applied Mathematics.
