Tawnie finished her outstanding career at Weber State in 2019 by earning All-America honors. She also finished her career as a four-time Big Sky Champion and holds the Big Sky record in the 100-meter hurdles. She also holds two WSU school records and ranks in the top 10 in two other events. She graduated from Weber State in April 2019 with a master’s degree in Professional Communication.

2019 Outdoor
In her final season as a Wildcat, earned Second Team All-America honors by finishing 11th in the 100-meter hurdles at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas...Became the first WSU athlete ever (male or female) to earn All-America honors in a hurdles event...Broke her own Big Sky record in the event at the NCAA meet with a time of 13.03...Also finished seventh in the event at the NCAA West Preliminary meet with a time of 13.13 to qualify for the NCAA Championships...Won her second Big Sky title in the 100-meter hurdles at the Big Sky Championships in Missoula, posting a time of 13.11...Also finished fourth in the 200 meters at the conference meet and ranks 10th in WSU history in the event.

2018 Outdoor
Competed in two events for the Wildcats...Ran a seasonal best time of 12.34 in the 100 meters to earn a third-place finish at the 2018 UVU Collegiate Invitational...Qualified for the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round in the 100-meter hurdles.

2017 Outdoor Track
Followed up her indoor victory by winning the Big Sky Outdoor Championships in the 100m Hurdles (13.37). Went on to compete in the NCAA West Regionals where she finished 16th and set a new Weber State School Record of 13.32. Also ran on the 4 x 100m team and competed in the 200m at the Big Sky Championships. Had a lifetime best in the 200m of 24.74 at the BYU Invitational. Finished 1st place in the 100 Hurdles at four meets during the season: UVU Invite, USU Invite, BYU Invite, and the Weber Twilight Meet. Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference Honors.

2017 Indoor Track
Broke her own school record and repeated as the Big Sky Champion in the 60 meter hurdles, posting a time of 8.32 at the conference meet in Pocatello, Idaho...The time also ranks as the second fastest in Big Sky Conference history... Became the first athlete in Big Sky history to win back-to-back conference titles in the 60 meter hurdles...Also had a personal best time of 25.13 in the 200 meters...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Communication.

2016 Outdoor Track
Sat out the season with an injury.

2016 Indoor Track
Won the Big Sky title in the 60 meter hurdles and set a new school record in the event with a time of 8:45...Also posted the second fastest time in school history in the 55 meter hurdles at 7.95 and had a career best time of 25.80 in the 200 meters.

2015 Outdoor Track
Placed eighth at the Big Sky Championships in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 14.80. Ran the fifth-fastest 100 meter hurdle time in school history at the Utah Spring Classic running 13.99. Ran a personal-best time of 1:05.52 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Utah Spring Classic.

2015 Indoor Track
Broke the school record in the 60-meter hurdles with her time of 8.65 at the Big Sky Championships… She placed sixth in the final… Ran the fifth-fastest time in the 55-meter hurdles at the Wildcat Indoor Open, 8.08… Ran a personal-best time of 26.50 in the 200-meters at the Wildcat Indoor Open.

2014 Outdoor Track
Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 100 meter hurdles... Ran a personal-best time of 14.07 in the 110m hurdles at the Big Sky meet... That time is the eighth-best time in Weber State history of the event... Ran a personal-best time of 25.85 in the 200 meter dash... Named to Academic All-Conference team.

2014 Indoor Track
Ran a team-best time of 8.84 in the 60 meter hurdles on March 1...Had a career-best time of 26.92 in the 200 meter dash.

Prep Career
Lettered three years in track and field at Fremont High School. Finished All-State in the 100m Hurdles three years in a row: 4th as a sophomore, 2nd as a junior, and State Champion as a senior. Holds the region record for the 100 meter hurdles. Set a stadium record for the 100 meter hurdles at the BYU Invitational her junior year with 14.73. High school PRs were 14.53 in the 100 hurdles and 45.96 in the 300 hurdles.
