Alyssa Christensen enters her first year as assistant coach and second season as Director of Operations for Weber State Soccer.Â
A native of Draper, Utah, Christensen was a 4-year letter winner in soccer at Utah State, where she competed for the Aggies from 2005-2008. In her senior season of 2008, she helped the Aggies to their first-ever regular-season championship.Â
Christensen began her coaching career at Utah State in 2012, before coaching at Utah Valley University from 2013-2017. In her coaching career, Christensen coached All-Americans Heather Stainbrook and Jenna Shepard at Utah Valley. She has also helped guide 4 different Western Athletic Conference Defensive Players of the Year, 1 at Utah State and 3 at Utah Valley.
In 2018, Christensen moved into the Director of Operations role for the Wolverines, a position she held until 2020. In 2025, Christensen headed to Weber State and assumed the Director of Operations role for the Wildcats.
In her first season with the Wildcats, she was a part of one of the best in school history. The Wildcats went 12-6-2 and advanced to the Big Sky Tournament Final.
Christensen graduated from Utah State with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Master's in Health Education. She is married to Kyle Christensen, and together they have 4 children, Benson, Holland, Hunter, and Smith.
