Dave Champlin is in his 11th year as General Manager of Weber State Sports Properties.
Champlin has worked in the athletic departments at Utah State and BYU. His area of responsibilities in those departments and at Weber States gives him over 30 years of developing successful sports partnerships.
His other past sports ventures have included SportsWest TV, as a founding partner, and as a Vice President of System Sports Management, LLC. In addition, Champlin has been involved outside of sports in both the digital entertainment and QSR restaurant industries.
Champlin earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Utah State and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from BYU. He was born and raised in Logan, Utah.
Champlin and his wife Mary have seven children, five of whom are alumni of Weber State.
