PORTLAND, Ore. -- For the second time in three days, the Weber State women's soccer team played into double overtime. Sunday's match, however, ended a little better for the 'Cats as they earned their first Big Sky point of the season with a scoreless tie with Portland State at PGE Park.

WSU goalkeeper Rebecca Ritchie recorded seven saves to earn the shutout in just her second match back after missing nearly a month with a concussion. The clean sheet is the second of the season for the sophomore from Hilton, NY.

In the 83rd minute, a Viking foul set‑up a shot of an indirect free kick for senior midfielder Cassidy Williams from 20 yards out. PSU keeper Cris Lewis, though, was there to make a save on the shot attempt. Lewis posted four saves to earn the shutout for the Viks.

In the final minute of regulation, a header by junior forward Molli Nelson sailed right, and then followi.ng a corner kick, McCoy's header also missed right of the goal.
