Wildcats Fall to Ducks 6-1

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Weber State men's tennis team fell to 0-2 on the season Friday with a 6-1 loss to the University of Oregon at the Student Tennis Center.

The Wildcats were swept in the morning doubles session to give the Ducks the early lead and were unable to rebound in singles, dropping five of the six solo matches.

Sophomore Henning Hipp gave the 'Cats their lone point with a 7-5, 1-6, 6-4 win over Francisco Gallardo at the No. 2 singles position. Hipp improved to 2-0 in singles on the year with the win.
