WSU Falls to Portland State 2-0

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Weber State saw its hopes of qualifying for the 2009 Big Sky Soccer Championships fade away as Portland State used two second half goals to down the Wildcats 2-0 on Sunday.
Dolly Enneking scored the game-winner for the Vikings in the 50th minute, heading a ball past WSU goalkeeper Rebecca Ritchie. Toni Carnovale added an insurance goal in the 70th minute off a free kick.
The Vikings outshot Weber State 25-7 on the day and held the Wildcats to only two shots on-goal.
Weber State dropped to 6-10-0 overall and 2-4 in the Big Sky, while Portland State upped its record to 10-6-2 (4-1-1 in the conference).
Ritchie recorded seven saves for the Wildcats.
