Wildcats Shutout by St. Mary's

MORAGA, Calif. -- Weber State fell to 0-20 on the season Tuesday as they were shutout in a doubleheader by St. Mary's College at Cottrell Field.
WSU dropped the opening game 7-0 and fell in the second game 6-0. The 'Cats failed to score despite posting only six fewer hits than St. Mary's.
Abby Bowcutt and Marqi Gray each went 2-for-3 at the plate in the opening game, while Genasee Aman went 2-for-3 in the nightcap. Bowcutt went 2-for-2 in the second game for a 4-for-5 performance on the day.
The Wildcats will be back on the field this weekend, as they travel to Boise, Idaho to play four games in the SpringHill Suites Invitational at Boise State. Weber State will face the host-Broncos and the University of Minnesota, with a pair of games against each school. The tournament will wrap up tournament play for the Wildcats and will end a 24-game road swing for the Wildcats.
