GREELEY, Colo. – The Wildcats' defense held the Bears to just two shots on goal, but unfortunately for the Purple and White, one of them found the back of the net.
Despite holding a 12-4 advantage in shots, and playing the final 11 minutes with a man-advantage, the Weber State University women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Northern Colorado on Sunday afternoon at Jackson Stadium.
The Wildcats outshot the Bears 6-2 in each half, but were shut out for just the second time in conference play.
Weber State (1-3-0 Big Sky, 5-7-1 overall) will return to Ogden this weekend to kick off a three-match homestand, beginning on Friday at 3 p.m. against Sacramento State.
