OGDEN - Weber State set a school record with 19 3-pointers and rolled to a 114-47 win over Multnomah University Monday night at the Dee Events Center in the final non-conference game of the year.
The 67 point victory ranks as the second largest margin of victory in school history. The 114 points is the most in a game for Weber State since 1993. The Wildcats never trailed in the game and shot a season-best 63 percent from the field.
Weber State was 19-of-36 from 3-point range for the new school record. They also outrebounded the Lions 43-35 and had 31 assists with eight steals and just seven turnovers.
Six players scored in double figures for Weber State led by senior Joel Bolomboy with 18 points in just 16 minutes of play. He was a perfect 8-of-8 from the field, which ranks in a tie for the second best shooting performance in Weber State history. He also grabbed 14 rebounds for his 12th double-double, the most of any player in the country.

“This game was just what we wanted and we were able to get a lot of players some valuable playing time,” said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. “We've made some good improvements from the start of the year to now and we are now excited to start Big Sky play where energy and intensity go up.”
Multnomah, an NAIA school out of Portland, Ore., was led by Thomas Simien with 13 points.
Weber State concludes the preseason schedule at 8-5. The Wildcats will open 2016 and Big Sky Conference play hosting Idaho State Saturday at the Dee Events Center.
