POCATELLO, Idaho -- Idaho State's Ethan Telfair hit a game winning jumper at the buzzer to give Idaho State a 69-68 win over Weber State Saturday night at Reed Gym. The loss snapped WSU's eight-game winning streak and gave Weber State it's first Big Sky loss of the season.

Weber State held a 10-point lead with 4:43 to play before the Bengals closed the game on a 17-6 run to close the game and pick up the win.

Idaho State led 36-34 at halftime, despite eight first half 3-pointers by Weber State. The Bengals made 12 of their first 16 points and led by as many as 10 in the first half before the Wildcats closed the half on a 15-7 run.

The Bengals led by six points at 44-38 when the Wildcats exploded on a 21-4 run over the next 7:30 and took a 59-48 lead with 7:51 left. However, from there it was Idaho State's turn as the Bengals closed the game on a 21-9 run over the final 7:51 of the game.

Weber State outrebounded the Bengals 37-25 but Idaho State shot 53 percent from the field, compared to just 41 percent fro Weber State. The 'Cats were 11 for 34 from the 3-point line, but shot just 3 of 14 in the second half. WSU also had 17 turnovers, which Idaho State turned into 26 points.

Jeremy Senglin led Weber State with 20 points and knocked down four 3-pointers. Joel Bolomboy added 13 points and seven rebounds and in the process made school and conference history. He became Weber State's and the Big Sky Conference's all-time leading rebounding, now with 1,148 career rebounds.

Dusty Baker also added 11 points for Weber State. Telfair led the Bengals with 3- points and six assists.

Weber State falls to 13-6 overall and 5-1 in conference play. After three-straight games on the road, the Wildcats will now return home to host Northern Arizona Thursday and Sacramento State Saturday at the Dee Events Center.
