Wildcat soccer win streak ends in Missoula

MISSOULA, Mont. – The Wildcats fell behind early and weren't able to rally.
The Weber State University women's soccer team saw its three-match winning streak ended with a 3-0 setback to rival Montana on Friday afternoon at South Campus Stadium.
The Wildcats (3-2-0 Big Sky, 5-6-1 overall) were unable to generate many offensive opportunities against the Grizzlies' (2-2-1, 6-5-3) defense, finishing with just nine shots overall and only one on frame.
Montana took a 1-0 lead on Madison Adams' 11th minute header, and then scored two late goals in the 67th and 79th minutes to round out the scoring.
Weber State will be back in action on Sunday in Cheney, Wash., when the Wildcats take on Eastern Washington at 1 p.m.Â
