Rain cancels series finale between WSU-SUU

CEDAR CITY, Utah – Due to rain in the Cedar City area, the scheduled Big Sky Conference softball series finale between Weber State and Southern Utah has been cancelled.
The Wildcat won the opening two games of the series in decisive fashion, taking an 18-1 and 9-1 win during Friday's action.
Weber State (7-1 Big Sky, 25-12 overall) will return to action on Tuesday at 4 p.m. against in-state rival Utah in Salt Lake City.
The Wildcats will return to Big Sky Conference action on Friday when they host a three-game Big Sky series with Idaho State, beginning at 2 p.m. at Wildcat Softball Field.
