Wildcat soccer wraps up 2017 on Friday at Idaho State

POCATELLO, Idaho – The Wildcats take their final trip of the season on Friday afternoon.
The Weber State University women's soccer team heads north to take on rival Idaho State at Davis Field on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. in both teams' final match of the 2017 season.
It will be the 23rd all-time meeting between the I-15 rivals, with Weber State (2-5-2 Big Sky, 3-12-2 overall) leading the all-time series 11-8-3. Idaho State (2-7-0 Big Sky, 3-14-0 overall) won last season's meeting in Ogden 1-0.
Junior forward Morgan Quarnberg leads the Big Sky in goals scored during conference action with seven, having scoring in five straight matches and six of the last seven for the Wildcats. She is currently one point behind North Dakota's Katie Moller in the race for the Big Sky's Golden Boot Award, given annually to the player with the most total offensive points in conference play. Moller has 15 points on six goals and three assists, while Quarnberg has 14 points on seven goals. Eastern Washington's Chloe Williams is third with 13 points on five goals and three assists.
Friday's match will also be the final career outing for Weber State's three seniors, Celeste Anderson, Kelsi Jones, and Sydnie Brough.
