GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Despite recording a season-high 21 shots, the Wildcats came just short against the Fighting Hawks.

North Dakota's Mimi Eiden scored inside the box a corner kick from Katie Muller in the 48th minute as the Weber State University women's soccer team fell 1-0 to North Dakota on Sunday morning at rainy, wet Bronson Field.

Weber State (0-2-0 Big Sky, 1-9-0 overall) had 21 shots overall and nine shots on goal, including three from junior midfielder Madison Garlock, but suffered its fourth straight shutout.

North Dakota (2-0-0 Big Sky, 4-3-3 overall) had 10 shots on goal, with Wildcat senior goalkeeper Sydnie Brough recording nine saves.

The match concluded Weber State's season-high three-match road trip, with the Wildcats now scheduled to play five of their next seven matches at home, starting on Friday with Portland State. Kickoff against the Vikings is set for 7 p.m. at Wildcat Soccer Field.
