Weber State bounced back from a slow start to knock off Idaho State 77-70 Saturday night at Holt Arena in Pocatello.

WSU was down 9-2 early on and trailed again at 19-11 with 10:07 to play in the first half. That's when Weber State went on a 21-0 run over the next nearly seven minutes and took a 32-21 lead with 3:27 to play. However, Idaho State closed the first half on a 13-5 run to make it 37-32 for the Wildcats at halftime.

Weber State led 41-40 early in the second half when another Wildcat run put the 'Cats in control. WSU posted a 15-2 run that included back-to-back 3-pointer by Ryan Richardson. The Wildcats led by as many as 13 points in the second half.

ISU cut the lead to five with less than a minute to play but Weber State made 9 of 10 free throw attempts in the final minute to seal the win.

"We didn't get off to a great start and Idaho State was the more aggressive team early on," said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. "We then started competing and getting aggressive and got things going. We made some big shots and had a lot of players really play well for us.

Weber State shot 47 percent from the field and held the Bengals to 41 percent shooting. WSU knocked down 10 3-pointers and outrebounded ISU 36-29.

Four Wildcats scored in double figures with Jerrick Harding once again leading the way, finishing with 22 points. Harding was 7 of 15 from the field and knocked down two 3-pointers and also shot a perfect 6 of 6 from the free throw line.

Junior Zach Braxton had his fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 16 points on 7 of 11 shooting. He also grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.

Ryan Richardson had 15 points, all on 3-pointers as he finished 5 of 8 from 3-point range. Dusty Baker had 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Wildcats.
Jared Stutzman scored 31 points to lead Idaho State.

The Wildcats revenged their Big Sky opening loss at home to Idaho State on Dec. 30. Since then, Weber State has won six of its last seven games.

Weber State improves to 13-7 overall and 6-2 in Big Sky play, currently second in the league standings. The Wildcats continue their road trip with two more games this week, playing at Southern Utah Thursday and at Northern Arizona Saturday.
