Israel Barnes knocked down a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Weber State a 78-76 win over Central Michigan Friday night in the second game of the Junkanoo Jam in Bimini, Bahamas.

The Wildcats improve to 3-1 overall this season and now 2-0 in the Junkanoo Jam, and will play for the tournament title on Sunday.

Central Michigan led by as many as 10 points in the first half and held a 32-30 lead at halftime. The game was back-and-forth throughout the night with 10 lead changes and nine ties.

The Chippewas led by eight points with 3:41 to play but the Wildcats went on a 7-1 run to cut the lead to two with 1:46 to play.

WSU trailed 76-75 with nine seconds left but CMU's David DiLeo missed two free throws. Cody John took the ball up court and found the freshman Barnes who knocked down the long 3-pointer as time expired to give the Wildcats the win.

"We have some real toughness and didn't give up tonight and what a great play by Cody and a great shot by Israel at the end," said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. "This was a really high-level intensity game and I liked the winning intangibles that we played with tonight."

Weber State shot 45 percent from the field with the Chippewas shooting 43 percent. Both teams finished with 36 rebounds and the Wildcats shot 81 percent from the free throw line.

Jerrick Harding led the 'Cats in scoring for the second-straight game, finishing with 25 points. Harding was 6 of 13 from the field and 11 of 14 from the free throw line to go along with six rebounds and three steals.

John added 18 points with five rebounds and three assists and has finished in double figures in all four games this season. Zach Braxton added 16 points on 6 of 8 shooting and had seven rebounds and two blocked shots. Brekkott Chapman finished with six points, grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds and had a game-high five blocked shots.

The Wildcats will get Saturday off before closing out the Junkanoo Jam on Sunday looking to win the tournament title. WSU will take on Cal State Bakersfield at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time (6:30 MT) on Sunday.
