Wildcats off to the Mary Nutter Classic

• Weber State softball continues its 2018 season with the Mary Nutter Classic where the Wildcats will take on Army, Loyola Marymount, Arkansas, UAB and Stanford.

In the opening weekend of the 2018 season, sophomore Ashlyn Visser was a power house at the plate. She finished the weekend with a .412 percentage and an .824 slug percentage. She recorded seven hits in five games including one double and two homeruns. She had five RBIs over the weekend and stepped up to the plate 17 times.
Her defensive effort was solid as well recording 34 total chances committing only one error on the weekend for a .971 fielding percentage.
