Wildcats beat Bengals 76-59

Jerrick Harding scored 28 points and Brekkott Chapman had another double-double as Weber State beat Idaho State 76-59 Thursday night at the Dee Events Center.
The win moves the Wildcats to 11-6 overall and 5-1 in Big Sky play and sets up a first-place showdown with Northern Colorado on Saturday night.
Idaho State went on an 11-0 run early in the first half and led by seven points with 9:36 to play in the half, when Weber State went on a 21-4 run to close the first half. Harding scored the final 11 points of the half, including a long 3-pointer at the buzzer, to give Weber State a 39-29 lead.
The Bengals were never closer than six points in the second half and the 'Cats led by as many as 18.
Weber State shot 54 percent from the field and held Idaho State to 33 percent shooting. The Wildcats also outrebounded the Bengals 37-33 and held ISU to 6 of 26 shooting from 3-point range.
Harding was 10 of 16 from the field for his 28 points, including 4 of 8 from 3-point range. He also added four steals and two assists.
Chapman posted his fifth-straight and Big Sky-leading seventh double-double as he finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds, to go along with three blocked shots.
