Wildcats beat Bobcats for fourth-straight win

Weber State won its fourth-straight game as the Wildcats never trailed en route to a 93-84 win at Montana State Thursday night in Bozeman.
The win moves Weber State to 13-6 overall and 7-1 in Big Sky play and the 'Cats remain in first place in the conference standings.
The Wildcats continued their hot shooting by shooting 54.5 percent from the field in the win. It was the fourth-straight game shooting 50 percent or better for the Wildcats.
WSU also knocked down 12 3-pointers, the most against a Division I team this season and outrebounded Montana State 47-27. The 47 rebounds is also the most against a Division I opponent this year.
The 'Cats jumped out to an early 11-point lead with 12:46 to play in the first half and led by as many as 17 points before taking a 44-35 lead at the break.
They led again by 17 points early in the second half before a Bobcat run cut the lead to seven points with 10:15 to play, but the Wildcats were able to answer any other MSU runs and hold on for the win.
It was the 10th straight victory for Weber State over Montana State and the fifth straight win in Bozeman.
Four Wildcats scored in double figures, led by Jerrick Harding who finished with 23 points, with 19 points coming in the second half. He was 7 of 16 from the field and knocked down three 3-pointers.
Brekkott Chapman added 21 points with seven rebounds and made four 3-pointers.
Zach Braxton had his third double-double of the year with 17 points, 12 rebounds and three blocked shots. Freshman Israel Barnes added 10 points with three assists.
The Wildcats continue their road trip with a showdown at Montana Saturday night in Missoula.
