Game notes: FCS Semifinals at James Madison

• Weber State will compete in the semifinals of the FCS Playoffs for the first time in school history when the Wildcats travel to James Madison Saturday night in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
• The game will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time (4:30 p.m. MST) from Bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg and will be televised nationally on ESPNU with Chris Cotter and Paul Carcaterra calling the action.
• The Weber State radio broadcast will be on 1430 KLO and streamed online at kloradio.com with Steve Klauke and former WSU head coach and athletic director Jerry Graybeal on the call.
• Live stats will be at WeberStateSports.com and the Weber State app.
OPENING DRIVE
• Weber State is 11-3 on the season and coming off a 17-10 win over Montana in the quarterfinals. The Wildcats are in the semifinals of the FCS Playoffs for the first time ever.
• James Madison is 13-1 on the season and has won 13-straight games.
• Weber State's defense had six sacks and five interceptions in the win over Montana.
• Jonah Williams, Trey Tuttle, Josh Davis and Adam Rodriguez all earned All-America honors from HERO Sports.
• Wildcat head coach Jay Hill was named the AFCA Regional Coach of the Year. In his six seasons at Weber State, Hill has a career record of 47-29 at Weber State and is 33-14 in Big Sky games.
• JMU is coached by Curt Cignetti who is in his first season with the Dukes.
• James Madison leads the nation in total defense and rushing defense, and ranks second in scoring offense, third in scoring defense and seventh in total offense.
• This is just the second ever meeting of the two schools. The two teams met in Harrisonburg in the quarterfinals of the playoffs in December 2017, a 31-28 JMU victory.
• This season the Wildcats are celebrating 100 years of football at Weber State and the 150th year of college football.
