Game notes: Wildcats host Owls in FCS Playoffs Second Round

• After winning its third-straight Big Sky title, it's FCS Playoff time for Weber State football. The Wildcats take on Kennesaw State in the second round of the FCS Playoffs Saturday.
• The game will kickoff at 1 p.m. from Stewart Stadium in Ogden. The game will be televised and streamed on ESPN3 and WatchESPN with Michael Reghi and Dustin Fox calling the action. The game can be seen at WatchESPN.com and the ESPN app.
• Radio broadcast will be on 1430 KLO and 1430kloradio.com with Steve Klauke and former Wildcat head coach and athletic director Jerry Graybeal on the call.

OPENING DRIVE
• Weber State ended the regular season with a 9-3 overall record and a 7-1 record in Big Sky play. WSU clinched its third-straight conference title for the first time in school history.
• The Wildcats earned the number three seed in the FCS Playoffs.
• Kennesaw State is 11-2 on the season. The Owls opened the playoffs with a 28-21 win at Wofford on Saturday. The Owls are ranked ninth in the nation in the AFCA coaches poll and are 6-1 on the road this season. Kennesaw State leads the nation in rushing offense.
• Weber State led the Big Sky with 14 players on the all-conference team with five earning first team honors. Jonah Williams was named the Big Sky co-Defensive Player of the Year.
• Jay Hill is his sixth season as head coach of the Wildcats. Hill has a career record of 45-29 at Weber State. Hill is 33-14 in Big Sky games.
• This will be Weber State's eighth appearance in the FCS Playoffs and the fourth-straight year the 'Cats have advanced to the playoffs.
• Weber State has advanced to the quarterfinals in each of the last two seasons.
• This is the first-ever meeting between Weber State and Kennesaw State and WSU's first-ever game against a team from the Big South Conference.
• This season the Wildcats are celebrating 100 years of football at Weber State and the 150th year of college football.
