Wildcats open second half of Big Sky play Saturday

    Weber State opens the month of February and begins the second half of the Big Sky season when the Wildcats host Sacramento State Saturday night at the Dee Events Center. The game will tipoff at 7 p.m. and will be streamed online for free on Pluto TV 235 and WatchBigSky.com as well as on the radio on 1430 KLO and kloradio.com. 

Steve Klauke and former Weber State standout and Big Sky MVP David Patten will be on the call.

TIPOFF

• Weber State looks to bounce back after a 76-75 home loss to Portland State Thursday night. The Wildcats sit at 13-8 overall and 7-3 in Big Sky Conference play. 

• Sacramento State is 9-9 overall and 3-6 in conference play. The Hornets are coming off a 74-58 win at Idaho State Thursday night. 

• Jerrick Harding scored 28 points in Thursday's game and moved into the top 10 in the Weber State career scoring list.  

• Sac State leads the Big Sky in scoring defense and turnover margin. 

• This will be the first meeting of the season between the two schools and the beginning of the second half of Big Sky Conference play for the Wildcats. 

• Weber State holds a 40-7 all-time series lead over Sacramento State  

• In games in Ogden, WSU is 23-2 all-time and the Wildcats have won 11 of the last 12 games played at the Dee Events Center.
