OGDEN - There weren't any of the great Wildcat fans, but at least Weber State was finally able to play a game against another opponent. The Wildcats put together a strong second half en route to an 88-60 win over Adams State Wednesday night at the Dee Events Center.Â
Â
And it was a new Wildcat who led the way in his debut. Senior transfer Isiah Brown finished with a career-high 26 points in 29 minutes of play. He was 7 of 14 from the field, including three 3-pointers. He also dished out a team-high four assists to go along with four rebounds and one steal.Â
Â
Another senior transfer, Cody Carlson added 13 points on 4-5 shooting and senior Michal Kozak had 10 points. All 11 Wildcats that played scored at least one point.Â
Â
As a team, Weber State shot 46 percent from the field and knocked down 10 3-pointers. The 'Cats outrebounded the Grizzlies 38-35 and held Adams State to 34 percent shooting. WSU was also 28-32 from the free throw line for 87 percent and had eight steals.Â
Â
The Wildcats now hit the road for an in-state battle at Dixie State Saturday in St. George, in what will be the first-ever Division I game for the Trailblazers. Saturday's game will tipoff at 2 p.m.

We sure missed our great Wildcat fans, but were thankful to be back on the court last night.
