'Cats return home to host SUU Saturday

  Weber State returns home to begin the final homestand of the season as the Wildcats host in-state rival Southern Utah Saturday at the Dee Events Center. Saturday's game will begin at 7 p.m. and will be televised throughout Utah on KJZZ TV and streamed online for free on Pluto TV 535 and WatchBigSky.com. Dave Fox and former Wildcat standout Lance Allred will be on the call.Â
WSU radio broadcast will be on 1430 KLO and kloradio.com. Steve Klauke and former Weber State standout and Big Sky MVP David Patten will call the action. Â

OPENING TIPÂ
• Weber State sits at 10-16 overall and 6-9 in Big Sky play with five games remaining in the conference regular season. WSU is eighth in the Big Sky standings.Â
• Southern Utah is 14-12 overall and 7-8 in conference action, following a 68-66 loss at Northern Colorado on Thursday. SUU is currently seventh in the league standings.Â
• Saturday's game starts a three-game homestand for the Wildcats.Â
• Senior Jerrick Harding is seventh in the nation in scoring at 22.5 points per game.Â
• SUU leads the Big Sky in 3-point percentage defense, rebounding margin and blocks.
• Weber State defeated Southern Utah 75-65 on Jan. 30 in Cedar City.Â
• WSU holds a 33-10 all-time series lead over SUU and the Wildcats have won seven of the last nine games.Â
• In games in Ogden, Weber State is 21-4 all-time against the Thunderbirds.Â
• The Wildcats also have just one game next week, hosting Portland State on Saturday, Feb. 29, which will begin a four-game in eight days stretch to end the season.Â
