WSU women take 13th at NCAA Pre National meet

Billie Hatch leads the Wildcats with a 21st place individual finish.
The Wildcat women's cross country team took 13th place at the NCAA Pre National Championships Friday morning in Tallahassee, Florida.
The meet was held at the Apalachee Regional Park, hosted by Florida State, the same course where the NCAA Championships will be in November.
Weber State totaled 365 points to take 13th place in the meet that included several nationally ranked programs.
Senior Billie Hatch was Weber State's top runner as she finished in 21st place with a time of 20:15.8 on the 6K course.
Senior Summer Allen was WSU's next finisher, taking 62nd place at 20:47.8, with Rylie Lusk right behind in 72nd place with a time of 20:54.2.
Cheyenne Leatham was 98th at 21:09.4 and Rebekah Geddes finished 119th at 21:24.3.
Weber State will next compete at the Big Sky Championships, October 29 in Portland, Oregon. The Wildcats will also compete at the NCAA Mountain Region meet on November 12 in Provo.
