Wildcats Fall At Idaho

Boise, ID - Weber State's men's tennis team fell 7-0 at Boise State Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats lost a tough doubles point, and then saw singles contests come up short.
"We could not get going today," said head coach Brad Ferreira. "It was a cold windy day and we are still short on players."
In doubles, the Wildcats claimed the first victory on court two, where Sebastian Buxman and Arthur Serafim defeated Michael Bott and Caden Moortgat 6-4. Michiel Van Schoor and Bo-Han Li went up against Blake Bayldon and Simon Arca in the No. 1 position but could not secure the point falling 6-4. On court three, Boise State won by forfeit giving the Broncos the early 1-0 advantage.
Boise State won straight sets in singles play to secure the team's victory. Sebastian Buxman came close in the No. 1 position but unfortunately, could not secure the point for Weber falling 6-3, 7-5.
The Cats' are back in action Sunday, March 21 at 11 a.m. against Colorado Mesa at the Salt Lake Tennis Club.
