Wildcats continue road trip at Northern Colorado Thursday

• Fresh off a big road win Monday night and in first place in the Big Sky, the Weber State men's basketball team is back on the road for two more games this weekend, starting Thursday night at Northern Colorado. The Wildcats and Bears will tipoff at 6 p.m. from Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley. The game will be televised on ESPN+ with Weber State radio broadcast on 103.1 FM "The Wave". • The Wildcats are 14-5 overall and are on top of the Big Sky standings at 7-1 following Monday's 92-84 win at Southern Utah. Weber State shot 52 percent from the field and knocked down a season-high 13 3-pointers in the win.
• Northern Colorado is 10-8 overall and 5-1 in Big Sky play, currently second in the league standings.
• Wildcat sophomore Seikou Sisoho Jawara led Weber State in Monday's win with 25 points and 13 3-pointers, which both tied his career-highs. He was 8 of 9 from the field, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range. He also dished out five assists. On the season, Sisoho Jawara is averaging 12.5 points per game and is sixth in the Big Sky in 3-point percentage at 41.8 percent. Over the last four games, Sisoho Jawara is averaging 19.5 points per game and connecting on 3.5 3-pointers per game. He is also shooting 62 percent from the field in that stretch, including 56 percent from 3-point range, and is averaging 3.3 assists per game.
• Senior transfer Koby McEwen added 21 points in Monday's win. He made three 3-pointers and had a WSU career-high six assists in the win. He has scored in double figures in all but one game this season and has now reached 20 or more points seven times. McEwen is fifth in the Big Sky in scoring at 17.4 points per game. He also ranks in the Big Sky top 10 in 3-point field goals made, field goal percentage and steals. McEwen was named to the watch list for the Lou Henson Award, given annually to the top mid-major player in the nation.
• Senior Dontay Bassett had a career night in Monday's win. He had a WSU career-high of 18 points on 7 of 11 shooting and tied his career-high with three 3-pointers. In just seven games this season, Bassett is averaging 8.0 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 53 percent from the field. He is averaging 13.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game over the last three games played.
