Weber State is 5-0 for just the second time ever.

OGDEN - Weber State scored 24 unanswered fourth quarter points and the seventh-ranked Wildcats improved to 5-0 for just the second time ever with a 45-21 win over No. 21 Eastern Washington Saturday night at Stewart Stadium.

The game started with a bang as the 'Cats scored on 65-yard touchdown from Bronson Barron to Ty MacPherson on the second play of the game, just 14 seconds into the game.

After an Eastern Washington touchdown, the 'Cats regained the lead with a 10-play, 76-yard drive capped by a 22-yard touchdown run from Dontae McMillan to make it 14-7.

The Eagles tied the game earlier in the second quarter, until Abraham Williams returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown to make it 21-14. It was his first career kickoff return for a touchdown and just the 12th kickoff returned 100 yards in WSU history.

Eastern Washington tied the game again at 21-21 with 7:01 to play in the third quarter after a fumble return for a touchdown. But it was all Weber State after that.

After a 49-yard field goal by Kyle Thompson, McMillan scored again on a seven-yard touchdown run to make it 31-21 after three quarters.

Damon Bankston and Kris Jackson each scored touchdowns in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Weber State has still not allowed a fourth quarter point this season and has outscored its  opponents 38-0 in the final quarter of the five games.

Weber State totaled 460 yards of offense and held the Eagles to 321. The 'Cats had 237 yards passing and 223 yards rushing.

On offense, Barron was 16 of 22 for 237 yards and one touchdown. MacPherson had six catches for 128 yards and a touchdown.
