The Weber State Wildcat softball team is scheduled to start Big Sky Conference play with a three-game series against the Idaho State Bengals this weekend.

WEBER STATE (22-8)

The Wildcats hold a 24-16 lead over the Bengals in the overall series.
WSU has won 16 of its last 17 games against Idaho State and is currently on a three-game winning streak versus the Bengals.
At 22-8, the Wildcats are in the midst of their best start in program history.
For the first time since 2019 and only the second time in program history, Weber State has beaten three teams from power five conferences this season (Kansas, Texas A&M, Utah).
Weber State's win against Seattle earlier this season gave Mary Kay Amicone her 750^th career win as a head coach.

Wildcat Pitching

The Weber State pitching staff leads the Big Sky with a 3.02 ERA.
Wildcat pitchers have surrendered less hits, runs, doubles, triples, and home runs than any other squad in the Big Sky Conference.
