WSU men's tennis beats Portland State 6-1

OGDEN - Weber State rolled to a 6-1 home win over Portland State Saturday at the Ogden Athletic Club in the penultimate match of the regular season.

Elyes Marouani and Tristian Sharp won their match at No. 1 singles and the 'Cats won the No. 3 doubles match by default to jump out to a 1-0- lead.

The 'Cats won at No. 6 in singles play and won four of the other five singles matches with Sebastian Buxman, Elyes Marouani, Tristan Sharp and Matteo Savio each winning a match.

The Wildcats improved to 3-4 in Big Sky play. WSU will close out the regular season by hosting Northern Arizona Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Ogden Athletic Club.
