Men's Cross Country finished 3rd at the Big Sky Conference Championships

Weber State men's cross country finished third as a team at the Big Sky Conference Championship in Missoula, Montana with a total score of 79 points on October 27.Â
The Wildcats finished behind both nationally ranked NAU and Montana State.Â
Peter Visser led the squad with a seventh place finish and a time of 23:51.40, Kevin Kirk followed in 15th at 24:39.60, Bronson Winter finished just behind Kirk in 16th at 24:43.90, Taylor Knight followed in 17th with a time of 24:44.40, and Wesley Kallgren rounded out the top five for positions for the 'Cats in 29th at 25:14.00.Â
Ty Davis finished in 30th with a time of 25:15.60 and Carson Horspool finished 33rd with a time of 25:20.30.Â
"I was really pleased with the way the guys fought today," head coach Corbin Talley said. "The course was challenging and the weather was tough, but they really rose to the occasion. Overall it was a great day. We'll use the momentum going forward to the Mountain Regionals."
Following their trip to Missoula, the 'Cats will head to Lubbock, TX for the NCAA Mountain Regionals on November 10.Â
