TACOMA, Wash. -- The Weber State women's golf team wrapped up the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational on Tuesday at the Tacoma Country & Golf Club, shooting a final round 299 to drop into a 13th place finish in the 22-team field.
The 'Cats opened the tournament on Monday with rounds of 294 and 300 and were in 7th place after 36 holes. They finished the tournament with a three-round total of 893.
Weber State's Emily Song shot rounds of 71, 76 and 73 for a 4-over par total of 220 to post a team-best finish with a tie for 17th place. Song carded 10 birdies for the tournament, including four in both the first and final rounds.
Isabel Gutierrez opened with a 73 and closed with back-to-back 75's to finish with a total of 223 and a tie for 36th place.
Cala Korman shot rounds of 74, 78 and 73 to tie for 50th place with a total of 225.  Her final round 73 was highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 14th hole.
Sofia Fuenmayor tied for 68th place at 229 after rounds of 79, 72 and 78, while Jessica Zelasko shot 231 on rounds of 76, 77, 78 to tie for 79th.
Grand Canyon took home the team championship, shooting a 2-over par total of 866 to finish three shots ahead of second-place Nevada.
Nevada's Leah John shot 73-72-66 for a 5-under par 211 to win individual medalist honors.
