Wildcat Soccer falls to the Rebels

Wildcat soccer fell to the UNLV Rebels 2-0 on Aug. 31 at Wildcat Soccer Field. The 'Cats fall to 0-5 on the season.Â
The Rebels scored early into the contest when Trinity Buchanan found the back of the net off of an assist from Haley Halbersma.Â
Buchanan was the answer for the Rebels again, finding the back of the net in the 28th minute of the half on an unassisted goal.Â
The second half of the match went without goals from either squad.Â
The 'Cats finished the match with five shots on the day. Tayiah Lambert was the keeper for the Wildcats and had four saves on the day.Â
The 'Cats won't see any action until Sept. 7 when they travel to Illinois to take on Northwestern at 6 p.m. MT.
