Wildcat Soccer set to take on Northwestern University

Weber State soccer is headed to the Midwest to take on Northwestern University on Sept. 7 at 6 pm MT.

The 0-5 Weber State Wildcats are searching for their first win of the season after recently falling to the UNLV Rebels on Aug. 31 at Wildcat Soccer Field.

Northwestern, a part of the the Big Ten Conference, currently sits at 4-2 on the season. NU is coming off of a tie against Vanderbilt on Sept 3.

This will be the first meeting between the two squads, but Weber State will be traveling to the match with two Illinois natives on the roster. Both Morgan Furmaniak and Alaina Wildenradt are from Plainfield, IL, about 40 miles from Evanston, IL.

The match will be streamed on the BIG+ Network.

Following their road trip, WSU will be back home at Wildcat Soccer Field to host the University of Utah Utes on Sept. 14 at 7pm MT.
